Just select any English word and with one click make the speech synthesizer pronounce it for you. The synthesizer (Text-to-Speech engine) is based on a new approach to speech synthesis, i.e. formant synthesis, which creates a human voice simulation by modeling sounds of a national language.<p> The new English<->Japanese dictionary is an extensive language resource. It supports the Japanese writing system and features several Japanese character input methods.<p> <b>Input by Radical</b> allows you to find a character by its radical. This method is mainly used in Kanji->English dictionary. You can use the Japanese virtual keyboard to input Japanese characters. You can access the virtual keyboard by pressing the VK button in the dictionary.<p> <b>Transliteration Input</b> is supporting the frequently-used Japanese writing system kana which is based on two closely related systems <b>Hiragana and Katakana</b>.
